The educational resources are equally impressive, including a massive 500-page manual that covers the physics and anatomy of sound in incredible detail as well as the spiritual side. I also really appreciated the opportunity to experiment with a wide variety of different instruments, which gave me a much broader perspective on sound therapy. Overall, it’s a responsible, focused, and highly personalized mentorship, which puts the client in the center.

This is so much more than a sound healing course. It's a masterclass on how to conduct yourself as a small business owner and practitioner in the wellness space. There are probably 100+ different places in Rishikesh you can learn to play sound bowls and talk about chakras. However, this is the only place where you will also learn about how the nuances of client / practitioner relationships, music theory, philosophy, history, and somehow still have plenty of time for trying close to dozen instruments. The manual they provide is so in depth and well researched, always providing citations so you're able to trace the sources and continue to learn about the things that resonate with you.

There was never a moment where I felt unable to ask a question, or that we were rushing through topics, which is incredible considering the amount of ground we covered in 5 days.

What's obvious from the moment you step into the studio is that someone who truly cares about sound as a healing modality put this course together. Lucky for us, he's not just a talented musician, he's an equally gifted teacher.

I've done my certificate with two friends of mine under Varun ji's teaching. We did it during the breaks of a 200-hr Yoga Teacher training course. He was super helpful when it came to arranging spontaneous times, which was sometimes tricky to do.
Aside from being a beautiful person in general, as a teacher he made sure each of us could understand the historic part of sound healing, its preparations, importances regarding the client's health, techniques, intentions and reasons. He gave us the space to ask any questions we had and treated us on an eye-to-eye level, while maintaining a teacher-student dynamic to keep us motivated and focused. We were also pleasantly surprised about his very practical approach. In the lessons, we rarely used our pens to write, but rather practiced hands-on, using the singing bowls on each other and taking our time to fully grasp the right frequency and vibration that is needed.
I have ADHD and therefore quickly get nervous and feel unsure when it comes to focusing on studying theoretical processes, but Varun jis methods to explain and check in on your comprehension are very helpful. I felt safe and motivated to continue practicing and studying.
Before we left Rishikesh, Varun Ji offered to help us pick the right bowls for sound healing in the stores around, without even requesting anything in return. He also offered to stay in contact via whatsapp regarding any future sound healing questions.
Apart from sound healing, Varun ji is a great conversationalist when it comes to yoga, yoga philosophy, Reiki and a kind and creative spirit that shines from within, making you feel seen and able to be yourself as a student.
Overall, I will carry this experience with me for my life. I went home to family and friends with a newly learned tool to live with. And also to work with.

I just completed the sound healing course and honestly I am already missing it. The five days passed so quickly, and I truly wish the course had been longer.

What impressed me the most was how deeply structured and comprehensive the course was. It covered sound history and traditions from different cultures, music theory and frequencies science, the integration of sound healing with yoga/meditation/chakras/ colors and many more.

It was not limited to practicing singing bowls only, Varun introduced me to a wide range of musical instruments such as tuning forks, gongs, tingshas, bells, nature instruments etc.
