Experience the healing power of sound through our immersive training course in Rishikesh. Whether you're seeking to become a certified sound healing practitioner or aspire to teach others, this comprehensive program equips you with the tools, techniques and knowledge to practice and lead with confidence.

About the Course

At Ananda Dhwani, we offer a holistic sound healing course that blends ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic application. This immersive, hands-on program is designed for anyone seeking to deeply understand and apply the healing potential of sound.

You'll be introduced to a wide variety of powerful instruments, including Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, bells, didgeridoos, drums, chimes, rattlers, harmonium, and more. From sacred traditions to scientific approaches, we guide you through techniques that harness the full spectrum of sound and vibration. This course covers everything you can imagine—and more—when it comes to the powerful world of sound, vibration and frequency-based healing.

Unlike most programs that split training into multiple levels, our approach integrates complete practitioner certification and teacher training into one cohesive experience. By the end of the course, you’ll be fully certified to provide sound healing therapy and confidently facilitate group sessions or lead training, as a teacher.

Just as the universe was born from sound, so too were you, along with everything you experience in this world, created from this divine resonance.

What You Will Learn

Dual Path: Certification & Teaching

Throughout the course you’ll gain a complete foundation in sound healing, equipping you with the skills and knowledge to confidently work in one-one and group therapeutic settings. You'll learn how to assess client needs, apply a variety of techniques and skillfully use sound instruments in a therapeutic context to support healing, relieve stress and restore energetic balance.

This certification is ideal for yoga teachers, Reiki practitioners, wellness professionals, and those from any healing modality—including experienced sound healers looking to deepen and expand their practice.

For those who feel called to share this work on a broader scale, the course also includes teacher training components. You’ll learn how to structure your own courses, guide workshops, facilitate training programs and teach others with clarity and confidence.

This combined approach makes our course unique—empowering you not just to heal, but also to educate.

How Sound Healing Works

Sound healing is a therapeutic modality that uses sound vibrations to restore harmony and balance within the body and mind. Based on the principle that every cell vibrates, sound frequencies help realign energy flow, reduce stress, and support healing at a cellular level.

When played with intention, instruments like singing bowls, gongs, and tuning forks produce frequencies that:

  • Promote deep relaxation

  • Release emotional blockages

  • Enhance mental clarity

  • Align and activate chakras

  • Support overall well-being

Best sound healing course in Rishikesh! ✨
I would definitely recommend Varun Ji as teacher as I have had such a good experience being his student. He is very professional, engaged in what he is teaching and simply just present. Very calm and cool to be around! 😄
What was important for me was that after my certificate I would feel comfortable and confident in doing therapies for others. I definitely do as I had no difficulties learning the techniques by heart. So happy that I gifted myself this skill🙏🏼🧡

A Globally Recognised Certification — Earned In Person

Your CMA-UK accreditation is recognised internationally — you'll be qualified to practise and teach sound healing anywhere in the world. Our graduates go on to offer private and group sessions, weave sound therapy into yoga and wellness work, and lead their own workshops, with students joining us from over 15 countries.

We teach in person only — no online or distance courses. Sound healing is experiential: the presence and resonance of live instruments can't be felt through a screen. Each vibration has to be experienced directly to be understood and embodied — which is why students travel to Rishikesh, the home of this tradition, to train with us face to face.
